I am a UKCP-Accredited Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapist (Karuna Institute), offering a contemplative approach to self-enquiry informed by Western psychology and Eastern philosophy. Additionally, I am trained in: EET Energy Psychotherapy, Post-Qualification Clinical Training with Certification; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, Level 1 Training. I am a member of ACEP and listed in The Energy Psychotherapy Network Therapist Directory.
Energy Psychotherapy methods offer an alternative and complementary approach to my accredited practice of Mindfulness-Based Core Process Psychotherapy (CPP). CPP places an emphasis upon the importance of presence, embodied awareness, the relational and compassion / loving-kindness. Energy Psychotherapy methods combine cognitive enquiry with a direct engagement with our subtle body/energies and somatic experience, with the intention of clearing long-held patterns that might be acting to keep us stuck or bound by limitation.
Energy methods include: acupoint tapping and/or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT); Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT); Ask & Receive; Psychoanalytic Energy Psychotherapy (PEP).
I work in both private practice and for an Independent Provider to the NHS, which specialises in psychotherapy for the treatment of Dissociative Disorders. I offer therapy sessions both in-person and online.
